World Book Day: My Green Bookshelf
Today is World Book Day! Reading has been my favorite hobby for my entire life. I read mostly contemporary fiction, but since the new year, I’ve been addicted to listening to nonfiction audio books. My library has joined many across the country in using the Libby app as an e-book/audio book platform. If you use an e-reader or like audio books, I highly recommend checking if your library uses some type of online platform. Personally, I enjoy listening to nonfiction much more than reading it.
If you’re looking for environmental books, check out my new page called My Green Bookshelf. You can find my favorite vegetarian cookbooks, nonfiction, fiction, and children’s books. I’m always updating it and I have a few other categories in mind, so check back periodically.
Even though this page is dedicated to my favorite “green” reads, I’m happy to discuss all kinds of books. Let me know in the comments what your favorite books and genres are. My current favorite books are the Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern, Us Against You by Fredrik Backman, and Know My Name by Chanel Miller. Happy reading!
